I am gonna get serious with this position shooting thing,,I have a bunch of practice to do,,this is the first target I have ever shot prone with a sling,,50 yards CZ 455 Varmint with match sights..

almost shameful but I guarantee in 30 days I will be doing much better

Not bad at all. Group size is going to grow when the sand bags are put away! But you can't bring sand bags deer hunting - well not vbery easy. :)

Watched a fella shoot prone at a 1000 yards at AEDC last year. Good luck....

I shoot prone all the time out to 1500 with my 338 LM but it has a bipod and a rear bag,,

theres a big difference

I meant to add prone with a sling. Yeah there is a big difference.

That sling can really help if you can just get used to it and learn to position and tighten it correctly.
