Fantastic! I recently had a problem with the prostaff 3x9x40 on my savage ml holding zero. I called Nikon told them em the issue and that I wasn't sure how old the scope was as it came with the gun. They said send it in we'll check it out. Came home today and low and behold there's a brand new prostaff sittin on the table. Needless to say I'm very satisfied!

I had a Monarch 1.5-4.5 on my SP10. I was trying loads/chokes, and the scope suddenly went blurry. The front lens was sitting in there sideways. I sent it off and a brand new scope was delivered in short order. I like to deal with folks like that.

I wouldn't be too happy if I bought a brand new scope and then it failed. I'd be even more disappointed if after the optic failed I called Customer Service and had a brand new scope of the same model was sent to me. It may take longer and more of a pain in the rear But I would rather the manufacturer asked me to send the problem scope in for a look-over for possible repair and if repair isn't possible then a full replacement. For me it would build my confidence if I had to send it back as that would tell me that the maker believed they sent the best optic out the first time(and would want to figure out what went wrong) For some maker just to send me out a new scope without looking over the old one...classifieds here it comes ;)

Some ya can never make Happy.
That's great to hear about the good service ful1stream.
I have a Leupold in my reloading room waiting to be sent back for repairs right now.

I assume you misread the first time, I did send them the scope for repair. I tracked it as it was there as Nikon allows on their site they classified it major repair while in shop. The day they shipped I had just assumed it was repaired but was presently surprised to recieve a brand new scope for a scope that came with a gun I purchased and I had no previous knowledge of how it was treated. Anywho I still think that is FANTASTIC of a modern company to stand by their products!!!!! JMO steve
