Anybody used one of these? How do they compare to the nxs or nx8 couldn't really find the weight on their website for that one to compare!

I have had two SHV's. They hold zero and dial with a low correction factor, glass is just OK. Certainly good enough but better options these days. I still have one on my 338-06 and have no plans to replace it, as it's perfect for its intended function.

I'm a big fan of the NXS's with the 5-22 being my favorite scope ever. Rock solid and dead nuts reliable with adequate glass but they are on the heavy side. I'd love to save weight on my elk rifles but love the peace of mind they offer if I took a spill in elk country.

NX8's are my least favorite. Tight eyebox and finicky parallax and the weight savings over a NXS is minimal.

I have an NXS and love it but was just curious about the SHV, I've also gotta pick your brain some too! I'm about to start a 7prc build and @hunter0925 has already told me you had all the goods on that build!
