Does anybody know if it's legal to deer hunt Burns Island in Nickajack Lake any info would be appreciated

I don't know about any land swap but it's still purple on the map so I was just wondering I can't find any info on it also there's some a gland right across the river from that that is in purple do you know anything about that

If I were you, I'd just go check it out. You may have already turned some folks on to public land they didn't know about by posting questions about it on the internet. And it's online forever now.

It's public land but good luck trying to deer hunt it. It's so thick that unless you know the trails that duck hunters made you will never make it more than 10 feet on it.

Yes you can deer hunt it. We do a lot of duck hunting there. Extremely thick and a lot of water on the west end. There are some stands that stay hung up year round but no sure who's they are.
