i hunt a 230 acre farm. for the last 7 years i have been trying to get 5 small food plots going around each of my stands.the ground was poor and rocky.each year i put out 13-13-13 and lime.wheat is about all i can get to grow and the deer liked it for a couple of years but dont seem to care for it much now.i would like to change it up and plant some clover "or some thing the deer would really hit hard" maybe that would last 2 or 3 years, my plots are in lots of shade "with some sun"and are about 1/8 acre in size.any one have some advice ? thanks

THEY MIGHT NOT BE EATING THE WHEAT BECAUSE OF ALL THE MAST IN THE WOODS.LOTS OF ACORNS.I REALLY ADVISE THAT YOU DO A SOIL TEST,WE HAD SILILAR SITUATION.OURS DIDNT NEED ANY LIME,IT NEEDED A PURE NITROGEN FERTLIZER
