next to the last batch

waiting for cayennes to turn red so i can string them up. got a basket full of cayenne, jalepeno and bells.

made mr johns peppers for my wife. she hasnt eaten very much since the last hospital trip. used extra lean beef in these. easier to cut them in half.

What is wrong with using green cayennes?

nothing, theyll turn red somewhat when you string them up but it takes them longer to dry.

ive already canned half red/green so i usually dry the rest.
