Newbie Question

This is only my second season deer hunting and I've been blessed to have a small area of private land to hunt. However, I'm wanting to try out some of the public land and have a question about the Wanton Waste Law.

Does this also apply to field dressing deer?(the guts) On the farm I hunt we have always left that for the coyotes.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

No question is dumb.

Field dressing is fine on public lands, It is illegal to leave the carcass of any animal you kill on a WMA.
