I was graciously given a brand new CVA Accura V2 as a gift from one I my clients. Never having shot a ML, it seems very over whelming. I've tried to research everything I need to get started and it makes my head spin. Any tips on what bullets, primer, etc. that work best with the Accura? Also, any tips on the best place/most affordable place to pick this stuff up (online or otherwise) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

My brother has that same gun and he shoots the following:

100 gr. White Hots (2-50 gr. pellets)
Winchester 777 Primers
250 gr. Barnes Sabots MZ

This combo delivers 1" groups at 100 yards. You have one heck of a gun there my friend. It will last you a lifetime if you take care of it.

I had the Accura V1 version. It loved 3 pellets of triple 7 (150gr) 250 gr shockwaves and winchester primer.

300gr harvester scorpion PT Gold, harvester ez load sabots, 110 grains blackhorn209, cci 209m primers.

My setup as well, except I swapped out the factory breech plug for a BH plug, and I use the crushed rib sabots. They load easily and seem plenty accurate. I also use Federal 209A primers.

When you clean, do not forget to clean the firing pin assembly. Do not let it go a long time without cleaning.

I have a 45 accura v2 and it shoots more than good enough to kill out to 200 yards. 150 gr of 777 pellets with a 223 gr platinum.
