Did some trading with a fellow on another forum. Got myself a predator gun until I can get one built. Pretty pleased with the set-up & results. I just put the linear compensator on so it's not painted yet. CMMG lower with a 16" Armalite match grade ss barrel. Kies linear comp & Yankee Hill bi-pod adapter with Harris 9"-13" bi-pod. Rock River 2 stage match trigger.
Here is a group with Hornady 55gr. V-Max Varmint Ammo.... I tried to sight it in with 62gr Federals.... ran out and went to buy more, couldn't find any so had to go with the Hornady.... good decision too. The first two-three shots were a little left before I adjusted the scope between the two weights. After adjustment, they grouped very well. The core of the pattern was shot taking my time, the few outer shots were just a couple seconds between trigger pulls... not taking my time to be very precise.
I started out at 25yds with non bore-sighted gun.... got the left to right dialed in, then moved back to 100yds.
With the Hornady ammo, 1.5" high @ 100yds = dead on @ 200yds.
