New to Trad

Looking at buying a trad bow this spring. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where you might go and "test drive" some bows before pulling the trigger on buying one. I'm in the Nashville area, but don't mind driving 200 or so miles if need be. I read where the twin oaks TN classic is a good place, but I don't see the event scheduled for 2018 on their website. The Tennessee Classic is a great place to go to get your hands on all kinds of bows for sale. I lifted the info from Pappy on the leatherwall....

Yes, Twin Oaks would be the place. I intend on being there. I'm planning on doing the selfbow challenge.

If you're willing to drive to Birmingham. Tannehill has a shoot in February, there will be several vendors there. Big Jim will plenty of new and used bows available not to mention the rest of the vendors there.

Tannehill is a good time. I haven't made their Pre-spring shoot but been to a couple of the Howard Hill Classic shoots.
