New to the area got drawn

Just got stationed here at ft Campbell, and got lucky (I think) got drawn for oak ridge archery only and laurel hill in November. Does anybody have any tips, or recommendations? From the research I've gotten oak ridge is only open for the quota hunts is that right? Last question on the quota hunts do they send you some more info or what I tried calling the number posted on the website but nobody has given me a call back yet. My address has changed since I applied and need to know all the details thanks!

If your stationed at Fort Campbell I assume your military so you need to speak with some guys or gals that have been stationed there and just hunt the Fort. You have priority on getting on some really good areas there to hunt

Welcome to the site, welcome to the state, and thank you for serving.
They do send you more information in the mail, especially for Oak Ridge. They should send you a map and a long list of rules.
I don't think that you can scout ahead of time, but it may be allowed in some parts of Oak Ridge; I'm just not sure.
**I just remembered that they let you scout the weekend before the hunt!
It is a little bit of a drive for you to Oak Ridge; maybe 4 hours.
There is definitely some good hunting there at Ft Campbell, you would do very well to hunt that as much as possible and learn the different areas.
