Mt Juliet
Hey everyone, just moved to Nashville area (Mt Juliet) from NW Arkansas this week. My wife is at Vanderbilt. Trying to stay positive about the move, do a lot of hunting and fishing and really liked NW Arkansas for that.

Usually fish 3 days a week when it's not hunting season. Getting my new drivers license on Tuesday and then gonna rush some scouting for public land archery deer before duck season at the end of November. Panning on hunting Old Hickory WMA.

Also plan to fish for stripers around Gallatin in the winter and up around the dam in the spring. I fly fish as well, love targeting stripers on the fly. I do a lot of flytying and make duck calls as well.

Just looking for anybody around the area, I don't know anyone in Nashville. I have a bass boat and looking for a jet/duck boat since I sold mine before the move (dumb). I usually fish/duck hunt by myself so looking for some new friends. I have a good duck dog, she's a 3 year old black lab and would love to get her on some birds (she just missed 100 retrieves last season)

Looking forward to hopefully meeting some of yall!

Left God's country, huh? Did the same from the Stuttgart area 30+ years ago, still have property and family there and go back often. Good people in Tennessee, welcome to the site!

Welcome! Lived in Dardanelle, AR, at the bottom of Mt. Nebo for almost 5 years from 2017-2022. Arkansas is a beautiful place to live once you get out of the NE part.

NE is fun for a few days in the winter for some duck hunting, but that's enough for the year haha
