Should be moving the motor up this weekend if all goes as planned. Believe I have found another issue with this glorious purchase I have made. Boat has 4 holes in deck (quarter size) with plugs on back and front deck. When I pull these and push on foam it is completely saturated. I took a screwdriver and chip everything I could from one on the back deck and it went maybe 2-3 inches then I got what feels to be aluminum. Everything I have read leads me to believe I should pop all the rivets holding the decks down and remove all of said foam. Is this 100% necessary? Also, now wonder if that is attributing to large amount of unknown weight I’m rear of boat contributing to porpoising.
