new song dawg gun!!!!

Picked up my new song dog gun today and love it. Did not get to shoot it cause of the wind but it came with a factory shot target look like shes a shooter its a cz 527 m1 american in 223 with nikon 3x9x40 prosaff scope i cant wait to shoot it!!!!

Congrats man. You are going to love that little rifle. I have the 527 American in 204 and it is awesome to say the least. Nice option in going with a 3-9 as well. You will be glad you did. I never call with my scope over 4 power. I only use the higher power for working up loads.

If you ever consider going to lower rings the CZ's are known for the bolt handle not clearing the bell on lower ring set ups. Just something to consider. You can get a modified bolt handle from Calhoon that will enable you to use lower rings if you ever wanted to go lower. I am currently using the same rings as you.

Nice rig. You will love the cz. Mine has taken countless yotes, bobcats, fox, coon, groundhogs and crows. No complaints. I tried every way in the world to use lower rings, to no avail. It will still shoot great.

Redblood thanks but i got to go to class at 8 that morning. I would give anything if i could skip but i better not, maybe we can set something up for the weekend or whenever but i for sure want to go.I shot my gun today and its a shooter shot two in the same hole at 100 yards.
