Indiana is now allowing pistol cartridge rifles,.357 and up.Im thinking Marlin, any other suggastions or websites to check out.Im assuming the smallest caliber will have the best ballistics{.357} any other thoughts?

Iwont to be flat as much as possible ,use to a .308,know I wont get that, but dont know much about these heavy rounds.Im assuming a .357 is somewhat larger than a .308,but I dont know how pistol bullets compare to rifle bullets.

The .357 is great out of an 18.5" rifle barrel, comparable to a .30-30 with the right loads. It makes a much better rifle cartridge than a pistol cartridge. I love my Marlin 1894C and wouldn't hesitate to use it for deer or hogs out to 125 yards or so. NEF makes a handi-rifle in .357 too that gets slightly more velocity with it's 22 inch barrel.
