700 vtr stainless in 223.
Scope is the Vortex diamondback hp.
3-12×42. I have plenty of brass worked so hopefully I can start working on a load soon.

It's a 9 twist. I have varget and 65 gk to try now with plans of trying the 70 vlds.

Nice looking rifle. You will have a lot of fun building out the perfect recipe for each weight bullet you are thinking of shooting.

Our Savage Axis shoots 60 gr partition and 25 gr H335. R--P brass, 205MAR primers. 1:9 twist, SAAMI spec length, chamber is tight.

Thanks! We will see. 55 gr. Pmc factory sure want to group. Can't wait to try some 65gr. And heavier. With hand loads.
