Looking for a new rifle. Really like the Weatherby Vanguard S2 RC in 7mm Rem. Anybody shoot one and are they as accurate as Weatherby insists?
 
Lot of folks shoot that Vanguard and most seem to have accurate weapons with factory ammo.

Story is Howa makes the rifle and test fires it to insure the advertised accuracy is there.
 
I've owned a bunch of different brand rifles over the years, and I am an admitted Ruger junkie. But I have to say that Tikka is absolutely the most accurate rifle I have ever owned for out of the box accuracy. It's a Beretta product and they use the Sako barrels. Fit and finish is far above most factory rifles these days. We own a 7mm-08 and a .338 Federal and both were 1/2" guns with my reloads. It's not unusual for them to put 5 rounds into a nice cloverleaf on a calm day. You can buy them insanely cheap at www.grabagun.com and have them shipped to your local FFL.
