Sako 85 Finnlight 30-06. Picked it up today. Can't wait to shoot it. I haven't decided which scope I'm going to put on it yet, but I have a couple ordered. Will decide once they arrive - hopefully within the next two weeks.

My buddy has the Sako 85 hunter in .308, they are some fine rifles.
I like the stainless fluted barrel, I'm sure you're going to be happy.
Whst scope are you installing?

Not sure yet. I get deep discounts on Leupold stuff. I ordered three VX-3i ... 3.5-10x40, 3.5-10x50, and 4.5-14x40.

I'll see which one I like best (then return or sell the others).

All just the standard Duplex. I don't shoot long enough ranges to justify paying extra for anything else.
 
Nice rifle....plan on sending the 4-12 x 40 back. Eyebox sucks on them big time!

I ordered the 2-piece OptiLock mounts and rings, and the 1 piece "Ringmounts". I like the 1 piece better. I think I'm returning the 2 piece - they just sit too high. I like the design of the dovetail & mounts, but I'd like it to sit a hair bit lower just for a slightly better cheek weld.

I know a guy that would like to have that 4.5-14X40. I have one on a 243. Would like to have another on my 22. For that matter I would like to have 2 of them. I have an AR that it would fit nicely on.
Nice rifle BTW. A friend has one. I have shot it several times and have considered getting one. I need a bigger safe for all my "wanted" rifles.
