Got new striker spring for my Farley and a new scale to weigh down to .02 grains...

Cant wait for match days.

The new spring, did you get that because of previous light strikes? Or you just insuring a sufficient strike every time?

I realize I am assuming you got a stronger spring but that is not necessarily the case.

Your choice of primer?

You having any primers get punctured?

A reload company advised me that several companies have recently re-engineered their primer construction, making the chemical more likely to explode from a non-firing pin strike (such as during the priming stroke/process).

You seeing anything like this at all?
 
When I have the 6PPC barrel on I use gmm205s and the short spring works fine..with the 6BRA barrel I want to use cci 450s and the short spring gas misfires..the longer spring has worked 100 percent so far.

that would be great,,,I read where some guys are weight sorting primers to use at 600 and 1000,,IDK about that crap but we will see how it goes,,
 
I'm an old 600, 1K & even longer range competitor. I have a set of Denver Instrument scales that are graduated in .02 grain. You will be able to measure a single grain of coarse stick powder. Primers for sure. Weight sort brass and bullet like never before also! But...I have to close the heat/air registers in my reloading room so my scale doesn't freak out because it's so sensitive, LOL. You'll be impressed. I'm here if I can help.
