gonna be hard for me not to take the 338 plunge next ,,250 gr Accubond

60 gr NBT`s for you 22 shooters and 110 gr 277 AB,,may have to look into that for the WSM..

I like the thought of a 110 AB for the 270. I'm sure it will kill a deer, but I just prefer a bonded bullet to retain more weight than what the AB does. From what I've seen and read, the AB acts more like a higher priced Ballistic Tip.

I'll probably end up buying a box anyway to see how they perform. ;)

At some point I might try the 110gr AB myself.

I have also read some of the reports you mentioned on the "AB acting like a higher priced Ballistic Tip". However from what I have seen they act more like a Partition than any Ballistic Tip.

What's the BC supposed to be on the 250 AB? My cousin may just have to switch from the 300 gr SMK's :)

Let's see... he's getting around 2950 fps with the 300 grainers, that should translate to around 3075 to 3100 fps with the 250's... that's a LOT of kinetic energy on the receiving end :)

Yep but which receiving end is getting the most. ;) :D

but it really is amazing how little an 18 lb braked rifle recoils, even the big 338's.
