My fiance got me a new cva wolf for my bday.. What is a good bullet for 150yrds and in with 100 grains of 777? I want a fast bullet that is easy to load that will do big damage

For paper punching use the TC Shockwave 250, for hunting I only use Barnes anymore in my muzzleloaders. The Barnes 250 TEZ in a Harvester Black Crush Rib sabot shoots well in a couple of mine.

This is all assuming it's a .50 caliber?

Pick a bullet and range test it. If it doesn't group in your gun no use in pursuing. There are many good bullets out there and every single one will kill deer. Personally I hate the Powerbelts but there is a very loyal following that loves them. To each his own.

That said, I practice with 250 gr XTP in a red Crush Rib sabot from Harvester(cheap to shoot) and I hunt with a 300 gr Barnes Original or Barnes Expander MZ. Original for over 200 yards and Expander for anticipated close shots.
