Been hunting on and off for years never hunted public land and that is the only option I have at the time just looking for advice on where to hunt and the rules to hunting a wma

It's been awhile since WMAs were my only option. Just like we try to pattern deer they figure out our patterns pretty easy. Early morning traffic before or a little after daylight. Traffic again around 10ish. Then in the afternoon starting around 2. When the pressure is on They become nocturnal pretty quick. I've seen more deer movement During mid day when people are stomping around..There are less idiots hunting in the middle of the week than weekends. Late season pressure eases up , When the weather gets below freezing and the acorns are gone Find a good Honeysuckle or Blackberry patch or some privet bushes chances are there may not be much else to eat.

The only land I have access to is in Mississippi and paying for out of state tags is just ridiculous
