My 15 year old got a new Marlin X7VH in 22-250, took it out to sight it in today. Very nice, at 100 yds his last 3 could be covered with a dime. Amazing how some manufacturers have improved their products...

I have one of the X guns in .243 & it shoots real good for a "economy priced" rifle, it'll do just over a inch at 100 yards shot from a rolled up coat on the truck hood & factory ammo, would do better from a rest & handloads I'm sure.
For the price I'm well satisfied with mine, it was one of the last years they were produced in the old Marlin factory before Remington moved them to (thinking) Kentucky.
