Went to Bass Pro looked at a Marlin 30 30 youth had rust on the bolt and the lever screw. Brand new they didn't even have one last week. :crazy:

I guess they could have just pulled it from surplus stock. It may have been laying back there hidden for quite a while. Who knows?
