New Inexpensive 30.06 Remmie 770

Dealer I frequent is selling at Gunbroker auction a NIB 30.06 Remington 770 with 3x9x40 scope for under 200.00.

I know these are a bit light on overall quality but they still seem to shoot okay.

I bought 2 of the 710 models when they came out. A little hard to work the bolt but they were good for around moa shooting. I put 3x9x50 bushnell elite scopes on them. Kelly ran one of them over with the combine. He got out the truck and leaned it against the tire and forgot it when he got in. Killed the scope but didn't hurt the rifle.

Dave I bought my daughter one of the SS Mod 770's in .243 and it is a shooter for sure. Cheaply made maybe on the outside, but still a Rem barrel and action, and shoots nicely. ;)

I've heard that there not all that bad. Gotta be better than the Mossberg ATR 100. I had a ATR 100 and it was the most fragile rifle I've ever owned.
