Unless I got roped into a dove shoot on a WMA that requires it, the day I buy bismuth shells to dove hunt is the day you can lock me up in the looney bin.

I've killed doves for many years with the cheapest of target loads on the shelf (not very cheap in today's world).

Surely this is some kind of joke?

Possibly the worst dove load ever made! Only thing that could be worse is straight steel.

Their marketing department understands that a lot of people are clueless.

More seriously, good marketing people could sell a pine coffin to a dead man. That's all this is. The only people gonna pay bismuth prices for dove loads prolly water their yard with Perrier.

I don't hate doves enough to sling a $18 box of lead shot at them, I sure won't go after some high-dollar bismuth. That's insane. The article is probably written by some Jungle Jim with "Salt Life" and "Yeti" stickers on his squatted diesel F250 with street-bald tires and a chrome bull scrote hanging from the trailer hitch.

It's bad enough that they're loading 1-1/4oz loads now.

I am taking some #6 shot for a chance at pigeons or collard doves, coarse I been known to shoot a crow or 4 also
