I have a NIB, never fired Harrington & Richardson 45-70 single shot. I bought it to do a smokeless conversion but have decided to stick with my Pro Hunter. Price is 250.00 FIRM, picked up in the Cookeville area. No trades. Will send pics if you need them. Thanks

Now is a good time to get started on a conversion. Plenty of time to get it back and get some trigger time with it. We have done several of these conversions and they make very nice smokeless muzzle loaders.

That's what I was thinking about backstraps. I have ugg. that I got from howa. but was thinking about a lightweight woods gun!

I had a h&r 45-70 converted. The thing shoots awesome. 1 inch groups at 100 yds with a un knurled 200gr sst and 58grs of n120. And no cleaning required.
