I can't get my Hankins to shoot for crap

The barrel it tight at muzzle end and loose when it sits on powder
If I shoot over 62 grains it looses velocity
Thought about using a wad
Using a wad helped the one I had considerably. Never tried a veggie, just a wool. But didn't shoot but 58gr I think in mine. I was more after a medium range light recoil.

At one time, and it may have been in a Hankins video, the CVAs were bad to have a tight muzzle. There's some lapping that may help.

🤷 I size mine bout .4515, Barnes are too small mostly by feel of loading, one hand medium pressure, no wad ,never chronographs but consistent on paper and killing game. The Fury has a long bearing surface, no MB.
