Some may remember my couple posts a couple years ago looking for someone to fix my 1100 barrel. It had cracked the factory solder/weld (whatever it was) at the Mag tube loop on the barrel. About 15 years ago some old man "fixed" it for me, but a couple years later his solder broke again. It's been hiding for the last 10 years or so in the back of the safe and I can't find anyone that wants to work on it. Well, today i found a guy.

What you have here is a super duper high quality flux core weld. I tried some high temp solder but it shook loose the first 3 shots. I figure the barrel is about to take a ride to the dumpster anyways so let me try and tack it. [emoji1] I ground the old stuff off as much as I could then just laid down 3 beautiful welds that would rival those of a robotic Tig [emoji108]. I did them separately trying not to put too much heat on the barrel. Touched it up with some paint and took her out for a 50 round shake down. Better than New! Send me your guns for repair... I charge a 2 Yuengling minimum with 1 Coors per half hour after the first hour [emoji106]
