I typically go to the ground when it gets cold but I still want a mobile setup as I rarely hunt the same spot more than twice. I've got a turkey seat, which works great as long as you have a decent tree to lean against. I've also made a torges style tree seat that I love but again you've got to have a tree for the back and to fasten it to. In the area I'm hunting there are a couple of great blowdowns that I want to hunt from but there are no trees sufficient to lean against or attach to. Been brainstorming and happened to find this camo boat seat on marketplace for cheap. Fastened it to my turkey seat with a couple of straps and rigged a way to attach it to my pack to carry in. Not the most compact, but honestly smaller than a lot of the chairs out there and quite comfortable. I also like how it sits lower as I find that best for me. The turkey seat's legs are different lengths to help compensate for angled grown, hence the reason I wanted to attach this to it and have that adjustment.

I haven't weighed it yet, but it's pretty light weight and quite comfortable. And for those who would say, just sit on the ground, I'm getting way too old for that. My legs and knees start hurting fairly quickly so I fidget way too much.

Anyway, just wanted to share to hopefully inspire someone.
