Here's a sneak peak of the new steel 100 grain "Fatal Steel" broadhead. This head will be available in 100 and 125 grain. Let me say this head is going to be bad ace.

It's smaller than the original 1 3/8" but it's going to be super tough and will fly like a dart. Check out the pics comparing the new "Fatal Steel" with the original Razortip. I can't wait to fling this one in the woods.

The only thing that I would have to worry about was the tip getting damaged/bent if you hit something either in the deer or in the ground and ruining an entire head.

I have never been one to promote a broadhead until I have used one and witnessed the results on dead game .....
Ditto. Furthermore, numerous results in various settings/conditions, regardless of the product at hand.

I put a couple of the 100 grain Fatal Steels in the quiver today. They fly absolutely like a dart and I talked to a guy today that killed a big bull elk with it a week ago. He said at camp they were testing broadheads at 100 yards and the Fatal Steel flew the best.

It does look like a refined version of the razor tip. The razor tip is my favorite mechanical on the market and what I'll be packing next weekend, but may give these new ones a shot when I need to re-up.

What holds them closed?

They look like a good head, but if your bow is tuned, I don't see why in the world you would shoot them over a fixed blade (the little one that is)

The Grim Reaper is a solid design. At the base of the ferrule is a cup that holds a spring that keeps it shut. My bow is tuned but I still prefer a mechanical. Even with a well tuned bow if you put a little torque in the grip at the shot you can get a flyer with a fixed blade. Mechanicals are more forgiving of form IMO. I will take forgiveness when hunting any day.

I saw the Fatal Steel's at the shop the other day and they look like a wicked little head. With the 1.25" cut I think I would stick with the QAD Exodus. I'll have a mixed bag in the quiver this year GR Hybrid,GR Razortip, and QAD Exodus

This was posted on Archery Talk. There have been a few others report the same. I've heard some good reviews on this head but a few had the tip curl. I never ended up taking a deer with a bow this season so guess there's next year.

Get ready for it!
Andy calling it from early on lol . Most heads will be trashed hitting a rock or something like that though .
