I screwed up and posted this in general forum,,so I will post it here where the gun nutz hang out,,
Tim chambered me a new Krieger bbl in 6.5x47 for my long range bench rifle,,it is 30 inches long and 1.250 diameter all the way out,, 8 twist and long freebore for the new Randy Bobinett 135 gr boattail bullets,,G1 BC is .620 and with the speed I hope to generate from the 30" tube it should really fly flat and fight the wind well,,my goal is to average 5 shot groups around/under 2 inches at 600 yards,,
with the Sightron scope it weighs over 18 1/2 lbs but when my 40x Leupold gets back from the shop it should shave almost a full pound off that,,
excited to get it tuned
