New ducks from Elliot?

We were pretty puzzled Thursday when we saw no evidence of migration in front of Elliot in NW TN? Yes the hunting got great the last hour in the snow but that's always the case when the white stuff falls.. Saw a bunch of migrators Thur-Sat last week but not Thursday? Anyone seeing new birds?

My experience is for the most part ducks migrate in mid November and that is about all the ducks we get anymore. You hunt the same ducks all season.

Well luckily where I hunt that is no where near true. Yes some come in November and stay all season but its the influx of fresh ones following water/ weather from North and South that make it fun.. Usually peaks numbers around New years.. Numbers will be good if weather stays cold like this and great if we have weather plus water.. he MS river gets out we can see unbelievable amounts of birds that will never get counted..

I agree tons of new ducks but seems like lots of them left. Didn't see near the numbers this week and we got a pretty good view of what's around.

I agree steady stream of new birds. Saw tons of mile high groups migrating but I think a lot kept pushing.

That's nice everyone I talked too had horrible reports Mon-Wed including myself in several spots.

Even if they don't come from south hungry ducks do dumb things!

Shot them good on Wed in the sun. Thursday all the shallow fields around started thawing and didn't have much success. There are decent numbers of birds around but can't tell that we picked up many from Elliot? Definitely got a decent push of spoonies though
