New CVA Optima for muzzleloader beginner

Got my first muzzleloader today for $326 out the door? A CVA Optima with scope, stainless barrel, and thumbhole stock. Now I just need some advice whether I should go with factory recommendations of white hits and power belts or another load? I would like to know what burns the cleanest and can have the most accurate and consistent shot placement. I appreciate any and all advice from some experienced muzzleloader hunters for a first timer.

Change out the breech plug. Blackhorn 209 and Barnes tez 250gr

I love BH209 I have same gun using BH209 with hornady 250gr SST/ml

I bought one of those last year and loaded it with 2 50gr pyrodex pellets and a 295 gr powerbelt hollow point. 1\2" high at 50 yards and 1" low at 100.

I'm shooting the black sabot 200 grain Barnes bullets using 2 IMR whitehots in mine. It'll stack the holes at 100 if I do my part.
