new crankbait

I just bought this and wondered if anyone has ever tried it? It is a weedless crankbait made by Lee Sisson. Dives 7-9 feet. If I could get this to go through some of the milfoil I believe I would tear them up. Looking at it though just not sure if it will. Any thoughts?

i have my doubts. most weed foul-ups are on the bill instead of the hooks.

That wire that you see is supposed to help with the bill, you run your line through that wire which is supposed to help keep weeds off of bill. We shall see.

I really doubt it will stay weedless, but I guess you never know

Lee Sisson has designed some really nice lures over the years, so that gives it a chance. I think it will be more weedless, but will be surprised if you can crank millfoil with it.
