New Coyote Rifle

Had my heart set on the 64 grain Sierra TGK. OUT of stock everywhere in the USA found 300 in Canada, but not allowed to ship to USA. I decided to call Sierra and Bingo, they just ran them, so was able to get some on the way. Working on the stock today, pillars, action screws and all, getting ready to bed it.

Going to start out with 64 grain Sierra TGK, and the 60 grain TMK, for a backup the 65 grain Gameking. N133, H4895, H335, AA2460. I have plenty of new Lapua brass.

Looks like a great rifle. I put together a 22 creed a few years ago for coyote. I use the 80gr bergers.

Got it completed! Only issue was the trigger guard and the trigger housing were touching and trying to snug up action bolts resulted in the action not cocking after snugging up rear action screw. Took me a few minutes to understand what was going on and had to clearance the trigger guard so I could tighten screws up proper. Mounted 3 - 12 Zeiss scope I got from a member here.

Trigger trouble still so ordered a different brand. Smaller housing. I also got Lightweight 30mm Tallys on the way. I like what I like!

Accubond 70 gr gets Shooters World Tactical Rifle 23.5 gr in my bolt Axis. Chamber is tight so I cannot play with COAL very much. I am a few grains over book max....I like nice round numbers, like 3000 FPS. Primer is always GM205MAR. Brass is Speer from my friends at BrassmanBrass.com No over-pressure suggestions. I also have some 60 gr Partitions (25 gr of SWTR). Both of these loads kill with authority.

Price is free. Being west TN residents we gotta stick together. lemme know.

I'd give you my phone # but I managed to run over my cell and it doesn't seem to work now. Will let you know when replacement arrives.

Oh...H335 is my alternative. The SW stuff meters what I would call Pretty Darn Good. And is nearly always available. And is less expensive. FWIW I load the standard AR weights of 55 and 62 gr FMJ's with 25 gr of SWTR. In the slow twist Bolt Venture same load for FMJ and Partition. The FPS is a bit down from H335 which doesn't bother me, my scale is flexible.

Got parts swapped out, like the Tally's better! Found the contact in the stock and trigger so no more issues. Rear screw snuggled up tight! Now begins the loading part. Hoping I can find something interesting with the bullet/powder department!!

Just made a OAL case for the Hornady tool, and I am pausing shooting till I can get the throat or freebore lengthened. Lots of bullet in the case on the 64 TGK, 60 TMK, and especially the 70 gr Accubond. The freebore needs at least additional .150"

Final post, bumped freebore out .100" for 60 TMK, and did some polishing on the crown.

I'll be glad to put that on my list. I appreciate good info. I have 70 grainers to test no 69, but same in my humble opinion.
Im starting with 60 gr Sierra.TMK, and Benchmark powder. I have enough cases to also try the Varget load with 70 gr Accubond. Fixing to finally be the fun part!!

9 twist 223 is not finicky at all. It'll shoot 55s to 69s with about any of the regular powders well.
I've shot the 70 Berger VLD and RL15 also that does very well. The 65 Sierra GK is an awesome bullet also. I can't remember a suitable bullet that wouldn't shoot well.
