Got any pics yet? I love some English

Spikes are good dogs, they usually have a good mouth on track.

I've heard the breed is pretty gitty tho.. Can't get them to back off for nothing. lol

This dog is not out of Spike but is heavy Main Street bred. He is a grandpup to Roy on both sides. The mother he is out of was actually bred to Spike the last time but she didnt take. He is still learning but as far as I can tell he is sharp as a tack, hates a coon, semi chop on trail, hard chop on tree and independant as all get out. As of right now the opinion on mine is he is going to be a somewhat hot nosed dog. Likely coming from his competition breeding. I started him at 8 mo, he is 15 mo now and has treed 4 turn loose coon and one wild solo coon by himself.

My pup will be 9 months old at the end of this month. His 2nd time in the woods was laast night. He stayed with my 17 month old Cornell bred walker, backed her on the tree. The next turn out he managed to get strike on her and was 2nd on the timber. Special thanks to Roger Webb out of Cisco ,GA.

hi team main street i have not been last time went was when jason and all are boys you went we neeed go again jason dog died monday

Sounds good Mossyback. If you check around on UKC you will see that Spike bred dogs are a really sought after bloodline. I like mine pretty good. He may not be starting as fast as some of the others but he is starting and he can do it. I have seen him do it. Is the guy you got him from related to Butch Webb. Butch owns a female named Uptight Kate I think. Anyway I have a redtick that I think belonged to him once. You wanna know something funny. My user name on here used to be Mossyback before I had it changed to TeamMainStreet.

I have an English female out of Woodstock Grizzly and Michigan Swamp Rooster is her grand daddy on her mommas side. A little tight on track but a treeing machine. She has seen a bunch of coons in the last 3 years.

Hank treed by himself Monday nite and had 3 coons in 1 tree how bout that for a Uptight dog that's only been in the woods a handful of times.....

Heck ya dude thats what Im talkin about. I hadnt read this post until after I PMd you. Sounds to me like you already got him started good. Just keep him on the straight and narrow and in the woods and he will be a goodun.
