Eric, I'm shooting the Maxima Reds and they do great for me and my set up. I was out of archery hunting for years and bought a PSE 3G two years ago. Everything had changed from the early 1990's including the arrows. An archery shop near me recommended these arrows and I bought a dozen. Being older, I have the PSE set on 52 lbs and use the 250 Reds. I went outside this morning and shot two arrows (only two) at 40 yards and they were right on the money. I only shoot occasionally in my back yard and deer hunt. Maxima Reds are excellent IMO. Just for the record, the PSE 3G is an outstanding piece of equipment. I have shot a couple of the high end Matthews and they are nice. But the 3G and Maxima Reds are a great combination for me.

I absolutely love the Black Eagle arrows. The carnivores and zombie slayers are some of the toughest arrows I've ever shot and .001 straightness only run about $110 for shafts.

I have Maxima Reds. They look cool but I didn't notice a different between them and my Redhead ones. I will be buying something cheaper next time. Maybe not super cheap arrows but something more in the "middle of the road" price range.

I shot blue streak 350s a long time and love them. I shot the reds and to be honest I liked the blues a lot more. I am currently shooting FMJs and they fly well and hit hard. I have shot a blue million types of arrows at different weights and diameters and my arrows of choice are blue streaks and FMJs.

Scott Starnes is one of the top pros in the country and just placed 10th at the NFAAs (40/50/60) using Blue Streak Selects....he was one of the few that was clean going into this shoot, so he was going for a $Million, shot two 9s out of 120 shots....

I've shot ACCs for the past umpteen years. I bought a bunch years ago and they're such tough arrows that I've been able to shoot them this long. I'm down to just a few left and this year I will be going to new shafts. I'm thinking about the Maximas myself.
