Time to get out the smokepoles! Now is a good time to check you rifles and muzzleloaders from last year. Are they clean? Did you drop it and maybe need to boresight it? Take it to the range and make sure you are still on paper?
Every year I get loaded muzzleloaders, some with double loads. dropped guns from tree stands scope is off or broken. Last year I had a .308 with Approx. 3" of mud in the bore, dropped from a tree stand.
So hunters clean them, sight them, and if you don't have the time take them to you local gunsmith!
Good hutting.
