Probably going to be my sad song this year! The individual I hunt on is going to e 101 years old this year. The land is in a trust for a church and a college. I hope to be able to get a shot at one of the four farms this person owns. Probably just a dream!
I lost my lease this year. I'm going to hunt public land while folks are at work this archery season. My wife is set to inherit 150 acres of awesome hunting property one day so I'm blessed.

It's a sad fact that a lot of us will have to face at some point. We lost our best hunting spot a few years ago when the owner passed away and his kids divided it up and sold it piece by piece. It happens.
I agree 100%. This is why I cringe when I see guys wishing for TN to become a trophy deer state because that would only make it that much more of a rich man's game. The bigger antlers get, the more money it's going to cost to hunt and the more nasty hunters will get seeking those big antlers. Makes me almost glad to have nothing but scrub bucks around my place. :)
