Need some doves

Man and I had a good hunt a couple weeks ago.
Hunted like an hour and a half and we ended up with 18.

Cold front came in and now there isn't a dove within 5 miles of here.

I was really enjoying shooting that 1100 and now there is nothing to shoot at.

MAN drove around a pretty good bit earlier today and checked every field we can hunt as well as our little honey hole and never saw the first bird.

There cutting all the corn fiels now, will have them scattered far and wide!

Ive seen a lot the last few days but there in corn fields, or on rock roads getting gravel.

You'd think the cold front would push more birds down our way right? I'd like to try one more time this weekend before the first phase ends but I just haven't had much luck at the TWRA fields and don't have access to any private land.

Maybe the 2nd and 3rd phases will produce, the weather sure will be nicer!

We struggled this past weekend as well. Had droves of birds 2 weeks ago but the cold snap pushed our birds away.

I saw a ton yesterday and this morning on some fields that have not been holding any in the past few days. I think we must have had a lot move in with the cold front Monday.
