Thinking about getting into the muzzleloader hunting and wondering what opinions were..... looking at the traditions persuit ml..... seems like a decent gun at a reasonable price.

Don't want to go overboard on a gun until I see if I'm going to like ml hunting. Tried it some when I was a kid but that old Hawkin 50 was too aggervating trying to get the double triggers set to work properly....never messed with another!!

Grizzly you are going to love muzzleloader season. Things have chaged a whole lot since the old Hawkin days. A lot of people still use the traditional muzzleloaders but I love the modern in-lines. Half the fun is finding the right load for your particular gun. Don't know much about the Traditions line of muzzleloaders. My CVA hunterbolt has been great. I am thinking serioulsly about going to the CVA Accura this year.
