Ill be using a barnett vengeance crossbow this weekend. Ive done plenty of hunting with a muzzleloader and rifle and am wanting to get in to bow hunting. I planned on buying a new bowtech compund bow this summer but didn't get a chance to. I am going to bass pro friday morning and want to know what is a good brand of arrows and broadheads for a crossbow to buy. All help appreciated. thanks

I use 3 blade 100 grain muzzy's in my crossbow with a carbon crossbolt. The arrows are fine, I had one survive a pass thru on a deer and digging 4 inches in the ground. The muzzy's do great damage and are relatively inexpensive and you can buy replacement blades if necessary. They're the best value in my opinion

I use Carbon express with 100 or 125 grain 2 blade rage and have taken over 30 deer with this set up and only broken 1 bolt and have damaged maybe 4 broad heads. I also like using nocturnal lighted nocks.

If you are going to hunt the woods stick to a fixed blade. Get a good one that you can resharpen, such as g5 montec or snuffer. If you are going to hunt a field shoot expandables. Fixed blades cut up a lot past 40 yards. Good expandables are dead ringer rampage or rage extreme. Good luck
