Who if any one hunts or has hunted the North Cumberland WMA. New to the area, actually a transpalnt from deep south Louisiana. Trying to get a start some where and ventured into a local Bow shop and was told about this WMA as being close and fairly good. Question I have is accesibilty and what to look for. I'm use to marsh and ridges of the flat land type. The terrain around here will take some getting use to. Not asking for honey holes just ideas on what to look for and where.
Thanks and stay safe.

Start with tops and aerial photos. Then fill the gas tank and hit the area. Wear out the boot leather when you find a likely spot. The terrain and habitat are highly varied depending on where you are, and the area is huge.

With that said, you can find some very good pockets that have little pressure, it just takes time and effort.

One thing I have found up there is that very few people wander far from the roads and 4 wheeler trails.
