I have a few old 22lr target rifles that I can't find a lot of info on. I have done some searching but just can't pinpoint a accurate value for either. Any help would be great. I might be selling and don't want to put it out there with out any idea. One is a mossberg and sons 144lsb 22lr magizine feed. With target peeps sights. The sights are not fance just basic peeps. The next rifle is a savage/anschultz mark12 22lr single shot. This rifle has the same peep sights. Both have wood stocks with adjustable palm supports and swivel studs and heavy barrels. Any help would be much appericiated as usuall.

As far as originality I would say they are 100% to my knowledge. I'm not good at condition % but if were to try I would say one savage is 25-35% the other savage might be 55-60%. And the mossberg I would guess 55-65%. One savage has a crack but stock and has some finish worn off from hands. The barrel has some rust. I thought about refinishing the stock and dura coating the barrel but didn't want to hurt the value. I kinda think it might help. The others look pretty decent.

Sounds like your guns may not exactly be collector pieces, but should still be good shooters. From the condition you described, I don't think refinishing is going to really affect the value either way.

If you decide to sell, let me know. I would like to see them even if you decide to keep them. I'm all about target 22s and I'm in west TN also, just east of Jackson.
