Need Help Selling Old School Custom Rifles

Can anybody point me in the direction of a person or place around Memphis that could help sell several custom rifles? My buddy basically inherited some guns that are above his league. Most are built on mauser actions. One is a Deutsche Waffen action. Another is a Belguim FN action. Most do not even have a caliber stamped on the barrel. He also got a few newer guns. One is a 338-06 Ack. Imp. on a Winchester Action made by Sisk Gunsmithing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much does he want for the .338-06? All those rifles are nice, should have no problem selling them.

He does not even know what they are worth or where to set a starting price. He would like to a rough value before negotiating a price on the guns or the scopes.

The thing with custom rifles is that its hard to put a price on them if you don't know how much it cost to build it in the first place. Those leica scopes are expensive though.

If some of them aren't marked what they are chambered for he's going to need to have someone cast the chambers and determine what they are before he sells them. It would also help if he could find receipts from the person's other belongings to help determine what barrel the builder used.

Bad thing about custom guns is they rarely bring what they cost to build new. His best bet may be to have someone put them on gunbroker and sell them that way. OR, he could keep them and shoot them. Which is what I'd be doing.

You never know what a collector is looking for or what they are willing to pay. I suggest your friend put them up on gunbrokers for the longest auction time possible and then allow the free market to put a price on them.
However, remove all the scopes and sell them separately first.

To most people, they are just oddball guns that they are going to be hesitant to buy. To a few people who appreciate what they are, they are desirable. I'd go with Gunbroker.com as the highest odds of finding those few people.

As somebody else stated, the price would be greatly reduced if you can't verify 100% for sure what the chambering is.

Also as somebody else stated, I'd take advantage of my good fortune if they were mine and keep them all. It would cost a lot more than they'll sell for to get one made up later on if your friend has seller's remorse.
