Chances are good that parts will be more than an after market trim unit. Look up CMC power trim/tilt units if you cant find what you are looking for or its more than $300
What I am saying is that parts for older motors can be hard to find.... and pricy if you do find them.
IF your parts are more than $300 it would probably be cheaper to buy an aftermarket CMC power tilt unit, and skip fixing the old one.
I had an 82 Mariner 115. Trim went bad... IF I could find a new pump unit I was looking at $1200.00 Found a CMC unit for $424 that included a jack plate. Took about 4 hours for me to install it and I was back in action.
