Need help finding a camera

I have a friend who needs a camera for her home,without getting in to details,she needs something that can be easily hidden and will need to be able to at least show a license plate clearly at about 50ft. Her budget is only between $100-$200 and I don't know enough about the different models to truthfully give her a suggestion.

Readable license plate image from 50 feet away? Good luck with that one. Most trail-cams don't have imagers with high enough resolution or clarity for that type of use.
