I purchased a Mossberg 500, 20 gauge youth model for my mother for home protection. However, the guy who I bought it from did not have any chokes for it. I checked everywhere localy for a full choke for it, but no one had anything. I read where I can use a winchoke in the gun as well as Browning Invectors. I found a full choke in winchoke, the one with the knurled end so you can hand tighten it. I installed it on the mossy, but the knurled end does not fit flush against the barrel, there is about an 1/8" gap.. I checked inside the barrel the best I could, and it looks as thought the choke is seated fine. Will the knurled end of the tube not being flush against the barrel pose any problems? Thanks in advance for any help...
