Need AK Info

Guys I need to get some input on an AK. My son wants to get one and came to me for my thoughts on them and what he should look for. I know nothing about these things I've never even held one,the most I know about them is they used them to shoot at us with. Help I'm in the dark here.

I know I told him to get a AR but right now they are outta his $$$ league and he's afraid of the Demos getting in office. Can't say as I blame him.

My 2 cents.

If you can't afford the whole gun, just buy the complete lower and you can buy the upper when the money comes in. The AR offers so many more options such as caliber and hunting/tactical versions.

some AK's re good and some are bad. i would like to have an AR myself, but for general purposes my mini-14 will shoot just as fast. and it has never malfunctioned.

If he cant wait to save up for an AR or atleast the AR lower and MUST have an AK now.Heres the order to look for them in

1) Russian
2) Bulgarian
3) polish
4)chinese
5) Hungarian
6) Egyptian
7) Romainian
